A Association pour l´histoire des chemins de fer lança o desafio a todos os que trabalham a temática dos caminhos-de-ferro com um Call for Papers relacionado com as evocações do Centenário da Primeira Guerra Mundial.

Os organizadores do evento referem:

«Organized by AHICF as a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the first world war outbreak, the conference, by focusing on stations, should highlight the importance of transport in the first world war history. It aims to bring together historians and social scientists (including junior scholars) and heritage professionals.

The call for papers will run from October 1, 2013 to March 1, 2014.

Potential authors will be informed of the programme committee’s decision by May 1, 2014.
Papers may be presented in English and French.»
